The Accelerating Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion (AeSI)
initiative, which is backed by the SBI Foundation and executed by Development
Alternatives, seeks to enhance inclusive rural entrepreneurship via social
innovation and financial inclusion. In Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, the project is
carried out by Swami Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti (SVSS), concentrating on
empowering women and youth from marginalized communities.
Objective

Establish 550 micro-enterprises and create 1,500
jobs in Mirzapur

Assist 50 micro-entrepreneurs through innovative
credit models, resulting in 500 additional jobs

Enhance the capabilities of SBI Foundation
