"Udyami Mela"

An entrepreneur fair was hosted in the Bhadohi district with Mr. Anurag Rai, the Deputy Commissioner of Self-Employment, as the main guest. Other notable attendees included Mr. Pawan Kumar, Senior Faculty at Khadi Village Industries in Bhadohi, Mr. Kanhaiya Lal Chaurasia, Director of RSETI, Mr. Ajay Rai from Bandhan Bank, Mr. Ratnesh Dubey, and Mr. Anuj Srivastava, Director of S.V.S.S.
The event was organized in collaboration with Development Alternative, N.R.L.M., Manavya Drishtrikshan Seva Samiti, and Swami Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti. A video presentation highlighted the project’s goals and the fair's advantages. During the fair, attendees were educated about establishing enterprises through street plays focused on entrepreneurship development.
 Mr. Anurag Rai emphasized that the Udyami Mela is fostering entrepreneurship in rural areas, providing valuable opportunities for both men and women. He noted that participants are reaping the benefits of various government and non-government schemes. The goal of the expo was to enhance employment opportunities for local entrepreneurs. The event was deemed a significant success. with thirty business owners from the Bhadohi neighborhood showcasing their stalls.
