Mr. Sanjeev Srivastava

Vice President

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava is a seasoned development practitioner with extensive experience in child rights, child protection, and the welfare of vulnerable and deprived children. His work over the years has focused strongly on ensuring that girls have improved access to quality education, health services, and adequate nutrition. His commitment to safeguarding children and strengthening community systems makes him an invaluable leader within SVSS India.

He brings proven expertise in providing technical support to NGOs for the effective implementation of programmes across various districts. His ability to assess on-ground realities, design practical solutions, and build strong monitoring systems has contributed significantly to the success of multiple child-focused interventions. He is also skilled in organising seminars, capacity-building workshops, and awareness programmes aimed at empowering communities and frontline workers.

One of his major contributions has been the mobilisation and organisation of civil society groups into district-level alliances dedicated to child protection.

These alliances later became part of a larger network contributing to the Child Safety Alliance (CSA) in Uttar Pradesh, creating a collective platform for dialogue, advocacy, and action on critical child protection issues.

Mr. Srivastava’s professional strengths include identifying technical needs, setting up systems for monitoring the implementation of schemes, and ensuring that programmes remain aligned with community priorities and policy frameworks. He has also led and completed several studies on key development issues, contributing to evidence-based decision-making in the sector.

As Vice President of SVSS India, he brings insight, structure, and a strong rights-based perspective to the organisation’s mission. His leadership strengthens the organisation’s vision of safeguarding children, promoting equity, and enabling communities to provide safe and nurturing environments for every child.
